summer session is almost full

Dear ,
I would love to have you in class, so let me know if you have any question, concerns, trepidations, fears, uncertainties, or bewilderment about the whole notion of signing up for a dance class, and I will be more than happy to talk with you.
Click on the link below to get all the info you need to register for class. The pay pal button is about half way down the page, by the Fees, Punch Card, and Make-Up Section.

I spoke with an old friend yesterday who has been an airline pilot for over 40 years. He is getting ready to retire in the next few months.
At one point during our conversation, he told me has always had a secret desire to dance, but he has never done it.
He had thought about signing up for one of my dance classes, but then decided against it.
When I asked him why he didn’t want to sign-up for class, he said: “Because I don’t have any dance pants.
I said, “That’s not a problem. We can go shopping together and find you some dance pants.”
He hesitated, and then said: “I am terrified. I’m absolutely terrified. That’s why I’m not signing up for your class.”
I get it.
So one step at a time, right?
1. Get your pants:
I recommend Ares or Goodwill.
Nothing fancy.
Just soft, comfortable, and loose enough so that you can move around.
2. Show up:
See what happens.
We never know what’s going to happen in any given situation, and this is no different.
You might cry, you might feel numb, you might shut down, you might feel lost, you might not understand, you might feel like a fool, you might feel alone.
Or
You might laugh, you might feel vibrant, you might enjoy the other dancers in the group, you might feel right at home, you might find yourself moving in ways you never could have imagined.
All I ask is that you notice how you feel, you notice your breath, and that you remain curious.
3. Keep showing up:
Even if you are scared, unsure, tired, or grieving.
Show up.
This is a place for you to be you, exactly as you are, in any given moment.
Ultimately, that’s what this class is about.
It’s about showing up, feeling your feet on the ground, and noticing what is revealed in each and every moment, in stillness and in movement.
So come and trip the light fantastic with me this summer.
I would love to have you there.
