again and again and again

"There is no such thing as repetition, only insistence." -- Gertrude Stein
As the 16th performance of Dog Dance approaches, I invite you to experience an evening of quiet unfurling that is unexpected, surprising, and insistent:
Friday, August 18th
7-8pm, Floorspace, 1510 Zamia Avenue, #101.
$10
If you are curious about investigating this unfurling further, join me on Saturday for the dance workshop, Learning Dog Dance.
Here you will have the opportunity to drop deeply into a state of creative exploration that is based on noticing the breath and the body, with delicacy, precision, inquisitiveness, and delight.
Saturday, August 19th:
1-4pm, The Boulder Circus Center, 4747 N.26th Street
$69 (includes 2 free tickets to Friday night's performance)
“Dog Dance is the kind of performance where the act of simply witnessing changes something in my cells. It serves as a kind of mirror. A return to wholeness. An opportunity to let in what stretches just beyond the frame. a reminder of what I have carried with me all along.” Laura Ann Samuelson
“It’s a different pace of living we are encountering…as audience members we are slowing down so that we can meet ourselves.” Helen Turner
"There is no place I would rather be." Paulette Fire
“It’s like the sky.” Nancy Ruff
Fondly, fondly, fondly,
Joanna
