A lot of my friends aren't watching, listening, or reading the news right now.
I get it.
It makes me sick too...and sleepless some nights...and hopeless others.
But I keep listening because we have to stay informed.
We have to know what is going on.
We have to keep making the calls and showing up.
We have to stay AWAKE AWAKE AWAKE, especially those of us who have some breathing room right now, and who are not yet being directly impacted by the horror that is taking place underneath what seems like a normal, seemingly democratic, relatively safe, have enough food to eat kind of life.
