Taking a little break

Last Wednesday I sent the first draft of the book to my editor (which is why I haven’t written this newsletter in a few weeks - I’ve been furiously finishing).

The book that is comprised of the newsletters I’ve been sending to you since Glen got diagnosed with a Glioblastoma in July, 2022.

The book that talks about dancing and dying, the work in the prisons, and the sex. A little bit — not much, but some — about the sex, because that piece of the story is important to.

That’s the book I turned into my editor last week. My editor who said, “profound insights & revelation can emerge in the liminal space between submitting a manuscript for feedback and actually receiving the feedback, so look out!”

No revelations yet, except that I have nothing else in me, to say. At least right now.

So I’m taking a break for a month or so, to lay low and fallow. Let myself recharge.
